Can I cancel a deal?

Sometimes. The rules are strict, and the app enforces them.

• Only the person who created the deal can cancel it. If you were invited and you do not want it, _decline_ the invitation instead.
• If any money has been funded, the deal cannot be cancelled. Not by anyone. Once money is in escrow the only ways out are: release it, or open a dispute.
• A funded milestone cannot be cancelled, but other milestones of the same deal that have not been funded still can.
• Cancelling the last remaining milestone cancels the deal.

If money is already in escrow and you both agree it should go back to the buyer, that is a refund, not a cancellation. The buyer can open a dispute and the seller can agree to a full refund, or you can settle it between you.
