About Bizik
We're making every online deal in Africa safe.
Bizik is a Cameroonian company building the trust layer for African commerce — starting with escrow that runs on the money rails people actually use.

Why we started
One of our founders sold a laptop on Facebook Marketplace and spent three weeks arguing over who should send first. The other watched a cousin lose 400,000 XAF to a "seller" who disappeared the same afternoon.
Every online deal here starts with the same standoff, and it costs real money and real opportunity. Escrow already solves it — but the existing services want a bank account, a Western currency and a week of paperwork.
So we built escrow for a phone, in FCFA, in English and French, and made it work with MTN MoMo and Orange Money.
We meet people where they are
The same escrow, the same account, on three surfaces — because trust shouldn't require downloading anything.
WhatsApp Assistant
Zero install. Chat or voice, EN/FR — create, fund, verify and release right in the conversation, with PIN-confirmed payments.
Mobile app
Full-featured on Android and iOS, offline-friendly, with push notifications for every deal event.
Web
An installable web app for deals, wallet and verification — nothing to download, works on any browser.
Mission
Make it normal for two strangers in Africa to do business without either one taking the risk alone.
Vision
A continent where trust is infrastructure — and every marketplace, freelancer and trader can plug into it.
What we hold ourselves to
Trust
We're only useful if both sides believe us.
Fairness
Evidence decides disputes, never who shouts loudest.
Simplicity
If your aunt can't use it, we haven't finished.
Local-first
FCFA, mobile money, EN/FR — not an afterthought.
Security
Other people's money is not a place to move fast.
