Disputes
What can the mediator decide?
Three things, and only three:
- Full release — all of it to the seller.
- Full refund — all of it back to the buyer.
- Partial split — divided between you, in the proportions the mediator sets.
Reasons are always given, and you can both read them.
⚠ The mediator decides where the escrowed money goes. That is all. They cannot award you extra, cannot order anyone to redo work or return goods, and cannot fine anybody. If you want more than the money in escrow, that is a matter for a court — and nothing about the ruling stops you going to one.
